To address the COVID-19 epidemic Hudson Robotics, leaders in lab automation, have grouped some of our products together to highlight their benefits for COVID-19 research.
All of the automation products come ready to use and are powered by our easy and intuitive Hudson SoftLinx™ Lab Automation Software. Hudson has you covered with system architecture that can change, grow or evolve with you.
ELISA Workcell COVID-19 Package
Hudson has combined all required ELISA assay functions into one compact ELISA Workcell, based on our SOLO™ Liquid Handling platform. This automated ELISA system features walk-away processing of your samples with minimal hands-on time.
The workcell comes ready to use, powered by our easy and intuitive Hudson SoftLinx Lab Automation Software. This workcell can be expanded at any time by adding microplate-based instruments, including those from other manufacturers, and controlled using the same SoftLinx interface.
Hudson has you covered with system architecture that can change, grow or evolve with you.
Hudson Robotics is here to help with a lab automation workcell designed to increase your capacity and accelerate your throughput.
Pre-configured COVID-19 Compatible Workcells for RT-PCR Microplate Kits and RT-PCR Diagnostic Panels:
Manufacturing of RT-PCR Microplate Kits
Hudson has designed robotic systems to automate life science PCR test kit production, such as COVID-19 test kits. If you are starting or increasing production capacity and need assistance, Hudson can help.
Processing of RT-PCR Diagnostic Panels
Hudson-designed robotic workstations perform thousands of microplate-based assays and genomics methods for researchers worldwide, including PCR preparation assays as used in COVID-19 testing. If you need to ramp up throughput, Hudson is here to assist you.
Turn-Key PlateCrane Microplate-Handling Robots for Flow Cytometry Instrumentation
BD Biosciences FACSDiva
Hudson can help you automate the microplate loading on your FACSDiva, allowing you to process stacks of microplates through the instrument without human intervention. With Hudson’s off-the-shelf FACSDiva software interface, our PlateCrane robot communicates seamlessly with the FACSDiva control suite and provides reliable, around-the-clock operation. Integration with FACSDiva can be tricky, and Hudson’s off-the-shelf FACSDiva plug-in provides full, robust functionality, giving you the ability to reliably process your microplates through the instrument without human intervention.
Sartorius Intellicyt iQue3
Hudson also offers a PlateCrane microplate-loading package for your Sartorius Intellicyt iQue3. Hudson’s standard iQue3 plug-in acts as the interface to SoftLinx, a full-featured integration environment. Hudson’s Softlinx provides robust functionality, giving you the ability to reliably utilize the high-throughput capabilities of the iQue3 and maximize your research efforts.
Automated DNA, RNA and Protein Extraction/Purification for COVID-19 Research
Filter Plate or Column-Based Extraction:
Hudson’s Nucleic Acid/Protein Extraction and Purification Workcell was recently implemented by a major pharmaceutical company, allowing the automation of its 96 well filter plate-based protein purification workflow.
Samples from a pilot-scale production line are placed on Hudson’s SOLO Automated Liquid Handler with Hudson’s Filter Press Positive-Pressure Extraction Module. Requiring no operator intervention, the workstation successfully automates the entire protein extraction process including liquid-handling, filter plate conditioning, sample loading, rinsing and elution of purified protein that is ready for analysis.
Magnetic Bead-Based Extraction:
Hudson’s Nucleic Acid/Protein Extraction and Purification Workcell helped a small biotech company automate its entire magnetic bead-based DNA extraction and purification protocol.
Hudson’s SOLO Automated Liquid Handler with Hudson’s Automated Magnetic Bead Nest completely automates the entire magnetic bead-based protocol. When raised, the Automated Magnetic Bead Nest aggregates the beads and pulls them into a ring around the well, allowing the SOLO to rinse and aspirate unbound material. Once lowered, the nest allows the SOLO to mix liquid in the well. When the magnet is raised again, purified DNA is cleaved and removed by the liquid handler.
